Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2025

Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how the Balbi Faucet (“Service”) collects, uses, and protects information.

1. Information We Collect

When you interact with the Faucet, we may process:

  • Wallet address: used to send tokens and enforce claim cooldowns.
  • Last-claim timestamp: stored to calculate next eligibility and prevent abuse.

2. Cookies & Local Storage

We may use local storage (and/or cookies) to remember consent to this policy and to store non-sensitive state for the Faucet UI. This marker simply indicates that you accepted the policy or that a cooldown is active.

We do not store your private key on our servers. Private keys, if entered, are used only locally in your browser to sign transactions and are not transmitted to our backend.

3. Purpose of Processing

We use wallet addresses and timestamps solely to operate the Faucet fairly, prevent spam/abuse, and comply with cooldown rules. We do not create user profiles.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your data. Limited operational data may be processed by infrastructure providers strictly to run the Service.

5. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures. Still, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Use the Faucet at your own risk and keep your keys safe.

6. Your Rights (LGPD)

Under Brazil’s LGPD, you may request:

  • Access to data related to you (e.g., wallet and last-claim record).
  • Correction of incomplete or outdated data we control.
  • Anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or unlawfully processed data.

To exercise these rights, contact us through the channels provided on the Faucet homepage.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version at this URL. Continued use of the Faucet means you accept the changes.
